PHOTO CONTEST RULES
Lakeland Cabin Stuffer
Eligibility
The Lakeland Cabin Stuffer Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is open to amateur photographers aged 18 and above.
Submission Period
The Contest ends on March 24th, 202. All entries must be submitted by this date to be considered.
Entry Requirements:
+ Each participant may submit up to three (3) high-resolution digital photographs for consideration.
+ Photos must be taken in the Lakeland and / or surrounding areas of northern Saskatchewan.
+ All entries must be original work created by the entrant.
+ Photos must be submitted in digital format (.jpeg or .png) and must be of high resolution (minimum 300 DPI).
+ Entries must not have been previously published or submitted in any other contests.
Photo Release
By submitting an entry to the Contest, the photographer grants the Lakeland Cabin Stuffer the non-exclusive right to use the photograph(s) in any and all media for promotional purposes, including but not limited to publishing in the Lakeland Cabin Stuffer business directory, website, social media channels, and any future publications. The photographer retains the copyright to the photographs.
If not selected for the cover, submitted photos may be used (with credit) in the inside of the magazine.
Prizes
There are no monetary prizes for this Contest. The winning photograph will be featured on the cover of the Lakeland Cabin Stuffer magazine, and the photographer will receive recognition and exposure through publication.
Judging
Entries will be judged based on creativity, composition, and relevance to the theme of showcasing the beauty of the Lakeland and surrounding areas. The decision of the judging panel is final.
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, participants must email their high-resolution digital photographs along with a brief backstory and location (maximum 150 words) for each photo to hi@brandysmart.com. The email subject line should be “Lakeland Cabin Stuffer Photo Contest”.
Publication of Winning Entry
The winning photograph and photographer’s name will be published in the Lakeland Cabin Stuffer business directory, along with the backstory provided by the photographer.
Notification of Winners
The winner will be notified via email and/or phone within two weeks of the submission deadline. Entries not selected for the Cover may be requested for use in other sections of the publication.
Miscellaneous
+ By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of the judging panel.
+ The Lakeland Cabin Stuffer reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the Contest requirements or is deemed inappropriate.
+ The Lakeland Cabin Stuffer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time.
By submitting an entry to the Lakeland Cabin Stuffer Photo Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these rules.
